The crew from People's visited friends in Maryland for breakfast and checked into their cabin in Virginia - all this after leaving Whiteville around midnight Sunday night!
Ladeen Powell says the view from their cabin at the Algonquin in Virginia is "a beautiful sight - it was something gorgeous." Probably because of the recent snowfall. The party is really up to the moment.
"It's an exciting time just to go through the city and see everything," Powell said. It's not really cold in D.C. Monday afternoon, as Powell wore no overcoat to dinner, but look out tonight, as the party will again set out around midnight to catch a 4 a.m. bus into the city.
"We've become the Midnight Ramblers," Powell said.
